Programme

The day will start at 9:00 a.m. at the Scout hall with an opportunity to meet other participants and staff and discuss the programme for the day. At this stage, participants will be split into teams based on previous experience to try to ensure they are working with people of a similar standard.

Teams will then leave the base and travel to suitable venues nearby to enjoy a day out before returning to the base around mid-afternoon. During the day participants will be able to develop various navigation skills including the use of a map and compass. The level of training offered will be varied to suit the needs and experience of the participants to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable and productive day.
